Three Citrus Cream Cheese Pound Cake


Ini semua adalah entry sebelum bulan puasa, saja nak update buat rujukan dimasa depan. Resepi cheese cake ini adalah dari blog yochana. Thanks yochana for sharing the wonderful recipe.


180gm cake flour
1/8 tsp bicarbonate of soda
a pinch of salt
130gm cream cheese
160gm butter
225gm fine sugar

180gm eggs - lightly beaten
1 tsp vanila essence
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 no orange zest
1/2 tsp lemon zest
1/2 tsp lime zest

1. Sift cake flour and bicarbonate of soda and set aside.
2. Cream butter and cream cheese together for 1 minute, then gradually pour on sugar and continue beating till creamy and light.
3. Pour in beaten eggs slowly till finished, mix thoroughly.
4. Add in vanila essence, orange zest, lemon zest and lime zest.
5. Fold in flour mixture lightly and then pour into loaf pan 9"x4" and bake at 160C for abour 1 hr 30 minutes.
6. Insert skewer in and if the centre comes out clear then its cooked.
7. Remove cake from oven for 10 minutes, in its pan before removing from pan. Cool cake over on wire rack.
8. Can serve the cheese pound cake with a dallop of vanila ice cream.
